  This address isn't right. It took me to someone's house in Emsdale. I had to use GPS to find the butcher shop. The clerk said that they've contacted Google and they refuse to change it. Shame on google, sending their patrons 30 minutes out of the way. I give the actual Sprucedale Quality Meats 3/5: not a big selection but good looking cuts of meat. You can call ahead and order any cut you want though.

  The meat is excellent. I've never had a bad cut from there and their bags of frozen chicken breasts are an excellent value and not all plumped up waterweight like they are in the grocery stores. Also they have several varieties of sausages that often end up cooked into my favourite chilli recipes

• Review of "The Lighthouse Cottages and Camping" at Sprucedale

  It was exactly what we were looking for. A little playground for the kids. Boat rentals, a nice, clean lake to swim in. We could fish off the shore or in one of the boats. There was an island we could swim to or fish from. The cottages were spacious and equipped with a kitchen, and a bathroom ,with a shower. The owner and her family were very kind, and on site, so she was available at all times.
